Jackson, TN - Four family members - including a juvenile - were arrested and charged following what police are describing as a home invasion on Christmas evening.
Reports indicate that Jackson police were dispatched to residence in the 30 block of Farmington Drive at around 10:15 PM, December 25th.
According to the police report, an earler argument had taken place between a 15 year old Jackson boy and Montrell Bond, who lives at the Farmington Drive address. The 15 year old was identified as the boyfriend of Bond's sister, and the fight escalated between the two, until the homeowner intervened.
Shortly afterwards, Corey Bond - the homeowner - heard continuous banging at the door.
Upon answering the door, Fredricka Jackson, 38, of Jackson - identified as the 15 year old's mother - forced her way inside and began swinging a bladed eyebrow trimmer.
Montrell Bond suffered a severe laceration, which required medical attention, to one of his fingers from the trimmer. Jackson continued to swing at several others inside the home.
The 15-year-old boy and his brother, Cornelius Banks, 21, of Chicago, entered the home and struck Corey Bond, Montrell Bond and a visitor, Devonte Thompson, 18, with their fists.
Another relative of the boy, Kentrell Gray, 35, of Chicago, then entered the residence and began swinging a coat rack at occupants in the house.
After the altercation, Corey Bond ran after the intruders and stopped Banks and the 15-year-old boy in the street.
The mother then attempted to run Bond over with her car. The front of her car grazed him causing a minor injury.
Jackson and Gray were arrested.
Fredricka Jackson was charged with especially aggravated burglary and aggravated assault, and Gray was charged with especially aggravated burglary.
Banks and the 15-year-old initially were transported to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for treatment for cuts received from occupants of the house who were defending themselves.
Upon release from the hospital, both were charged with especially aggravated burglary. Banks was transported to the Madison County Jail and the 15-year-old was taken to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center.
On December 26 Jackson's bond was set at $15,000 while Gray and Banks' bonds were set at $2,500.
All three posted bond and appeared Tuesday morning in Jackson City Court for their arraignments. Their next scheduled court appearance is February 2 in City Court.
The 15-year-old remained in custody and appeared before Madison County Juvenile Court Judge Christy Little for a detention hearing Tuesday afternoon.
He was released on house arrest and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims pending his court date.
